Big Idea: Plate tectonic theory explains the consequences of tectonic plate interactions

•Continental drift theory
•Distribution of mountain ranges, volcanoes, and earthquake epicentres
•Sea-floor spreading and hot spots
•Explain how convection of heat within Eath's interior drives plat motion and creates unique features at different plate boundaries

•First Peoples knowledge
